About The Position

The Luxury Brands Marketing Strategy team brings to life the unique promise of Hilton's portfolio of Hilton's Luxury brands by defining, creating, and delivering exceptional multichannel marketing campaigns designed to drive business results. Reporting into the Luxury Brand Team, the Vice President, Luxury Brand Marketing Strategy will partner closely with the Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, and LXR Hotels & Resorts brand heads on all things brand marketing. The VP will drive the strategic development of global brand positioning and lead the creation of high-impact marketing initiatives to drive revenue, grow market share, build brand loyalty, and drive brand health for the Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, and LXR Hotels & Resorts brands. This person will be the key marketing lead for the Luxury team, championing the brands in the category, and building strong, constructive relationships with the Brand teams, Marketing & Loyalty Team, Communications, Regional Commercial Teams, prospective and current strategic partners, sales, Development, and Hotel Owners. Serve as a trusted business partner to the Brand and Hotel Teams representing the holistic marketing engine - including loyalty and performance media. In this role, you will set strategic direction, align cross functional teams to execute campaigns, and drive business outcomes. You will establish strong interaction models across a diverse set of stakeholders and pivot as needed in response to dynamic market condition and build momentum and buy-in for your ideas with data, insights, and storytelling.

Requirements

  • Ten (10) years in consumer and brand marketing within large, global consumer brand companies, ideally in luxury or luxury travel/hospitality.
  • Five (5) years of experience leading department operations, including strategy, talent, and budgets.
  • Five (5) years in a Senior Director+ leadership role responsible for brand marketing strategy.

Nice To Haves

  • Five (5) years in a VP leadership role responsible for brand marketing strategy.
  • Previous experience serving customers in a similar segment (Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, LXR Hotels & Resorts).
  • Previous leadership in brand marketing for a global hospitality company.
  • Previous leadership at a franchising company.
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or management consulting experience.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Brand Heads to lead the development of the brand positioning and execution of marketing globally.
  • Identify core research, analytics, and metrics to inform consumer insights and drive efficiency of marketing executions.
  • Lead creative agencies of record to ensure positive relationships and facilitate groundbreaking, world-class work.
  • Partner with Creative and Media Teams and agencies to plan and implement go-to-market strategies to achieve brand goals.
  • Continuously improve the guest experience and brand signatures and rituals at luxury hotels.
  • Monitor success and opportunities for improvement in a test-and-learn environment to improve return on investment.
  • Provide direction to and collaborate with current and prospective hotels, management companies, and Owners.
  • Develop strategic partnerships linked to global strategies to build relationships with third parties.
  • Collaborate with and influence key partners in the matrix, managing stakeholders across the enterprise.
  • Develop and manage the brand marketing budget, including forecasting and actuals reconciliation.
  • Recruit and nurture top talent, fostering a high-performing environment.
