OPPORTUNITY: VICE PRESIDENT, LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT (HYBRID) LOCATION: PREFER NEWPORT BEACH, CA BUT WILL CONSIDER SAN MATEO, CA OR PHOENIX, AZ Job Summary: The VP of Learning & Development is directly and indirectly responsible for the overall management of learning & development, and policies and procedures relating to property operations. Plans, creates, delivers, and coordinates, training and employee development programs for Multifamily by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate facilitators and mentors. Supervisory Responsibilities: The position directly supervises the Learning Manager and indirectly manages subordinate staff (Learning Specialists). Fulfills supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems, developing staff and building a strong pool of resources.
