Vice President, Lead Software Engineer
About The Position
Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Vice President, Lead Software Engineer in Menlo Park, CA to perform analysis, estimation, architecture, design, development, and integration following design patterns. Gather business requirements and functional requirements. Consult with the product team to identify and to clarify program objectives. Provide support for any production escalations. Support current application by debugging and troubleshooting production issues. Analyze design for existing modules and make design changes. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days a week.
Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related occupation
- Requires seven (7) years of experience in the position offered or seven (7) years as a Manager, Associate, or a related occupation
- Requires seven (7) years of experience with the following skills: Java; J2EE; Spring; Hibernate; Oracle; and SQL.
- Requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills: Tomcat; WebSphere; UNIX; Maven; Ajax; Eclipse IDE; JProfiler; SVN; GIT; Bitbucket; Confluence; JIRA; Linux systems; SOAP; Rest Web Services; HTML; JavaScript; CSS; XSL; XML; JSP; RabbitMQ; JDBC; and Agile Methodology.
