About The Position

The Vice President of Investor Relations & Strategy will create and own all areas of the Bob’s Investor Relations strategy, serving as a strategic connector between our financial performance, long-term growth strategy, and the investor community. In this role, you will apply advanced skills in investor relations, financial storytelling, strategic planning, and cross-functional leadership to shape and communicate a compelling investment narrative, support valuation, and influence enterprise-wide decision-making. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership, finance, merchandising, marketing, and external partners to ensure consistent, data-driven messaging while driving strategic initiatives that support both near-term performance and long-range growth objectives. This role reports directly to our Chief Financial Officer. The role is primarily remote, with regular travel (4-8 days/month) to the Manchester, CT Home Office and periodic investor-related travel. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Strategy, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Investor Relations, Corporate Strategy, Finance, or related fields
  • Experience in a public company or public-company-facing environment
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with executive leadership and Boards
  • Experience working with external IR firms and financial advisors

Responsibilities

  • Investor Relations Strategy & Execution Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy, including investor targeting, conference participation, KPI tracking, and partnership with external IR firms.
  • Lead quarterly earnings processes, including preparation of materials, messaging alignment, and earnings call execution.
  • Build and maintain financial consensus in partnership with FP&A, ensuring alignment between internal forecasts and external expectations.
  • Proactively manage investor relationships using market insights and IR tools.
  • Monitor investor sentiment, analyst perspectives, and peer performance to inform executive leadership and the Board.
  • Strategic Planning & Enterprise Leadership Contribute to enterprise-wide strategic decision-making through participation in leadership forums and cross-functional committees.
  • Build, maintain, and evolve the company’s Long-Range Plan (LRP), including annual refresh cycles aligned with the budgeting process.
  • Identify and prioritize strategic initiatives that support long-term growth and near-term performance opportunities.
  • Translate complex financial and strategic concepts into clear, aligned narratives for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Financial Acumen & Market Insight Apply deep understanding of financial statements, valuation drivers, KPIs, and capital markets.
  • Use data and financial insight to support fair or premium valuation.
  • Leverage forecasting, consensus-building, and performance measurement to drive informed decision-making.
