About The Position

As the Vice President – Investments, you will support our acquisitions team in identifying, evaluating, and executing hotel (and/or multifamily) real estate investment opportunities. The How… Your focus is on developing and implementing strategic plans for acquiring commercial properties that align with the company's investment goals. You will use your solid commercial and hotel real estate background, extensive acquisition experience, and a proven track record of building successful commercial real estate portfolios to identify potential investment opportunities through market research, networking, and relationships with brokers and developers. You are an excellent negotiator who can build relationships and close deals. The Details… You will work full-time, Monday through Friday. Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write and speak clearly and free of typos or grammatical mistakes
  • Treats everyone with respect and dignity, accepts responsibility and takes ownership of tasks, follows through on commitments, and maintains confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet goals and deadlines
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, real estate, or related field
  • At least eight years of experience in real estate investment analysis and management
  • Strong financial analysis skills and proficiency in real estate valuation techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of successfully supporting and assisting senior executives in the real estate industry
  • Expected work hours: 7:30 to 6:00, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends and the ability to work hours that support business needs
  • Frequent and regular business trips with overnight stays are required to various business locations and properties (traveling approximately 50% of the time); may need to drive a personal vehicle for business
  • General office environment
