We are currently seeking an experienced Vice President to join our Capital Structure Advisory team in New York. Moelis Vice Presidents are expected to assume significant levels of responsibility requiring intellectual curiosity, leadership and analytical aptitude. The day-to-day responsibilities of a Vice President include: Leading complex financial analysis and modeling efforts Overseeing and mentoring junior team members Driving the preparation and delivery of client presentations Managing day-to-day client relationships Coordinating transaction execution, and partnering closely with senior bankers on strategic advisory engagements. A sophisticated level of interpersonal skill and leadership presence is required. Ideal candidates must also possess: Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and presentation skills Strong knowledge of accounting and financial concepts; ability to analyze and value businesses and capital structures in complex situations Extensive experience in Investment Banking (corporate finance/M&A, restructuring, or capital markets) or equivalent Demonstrated experience managing transactions and leading workstreams A drive for results, and ability to perform well under pressure and against tight deadlines Proven leadership skills and ability to effectively manage and mentor junior professionals Ability to interact confidently with senior internal stakeholders and client executives Strong multi-tasking and project management skills Exceptional Microsoft Office suite (Excel a must) and advanced financial modeling skills Undergraduate degree required; focus in finance, business, accounting, economics, mathematics is preferred; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. Requirements

  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and presentation skills
