About The Position

The HR Employee Experience & Operational Excellence Lead is responsible for shaping the employee experience, in collaboration with the other members of the HR team, as well as driving initiatives to achieve operational excellence of HR processes, with a continuous focus on efficiency, quality, and effectiveness. The role-holder will report to the head of HR and achieve his / her goals with the support of one direct report, the HR Operations Associate. By leveraging employee feedback, data insights, and best practices, the Employee Journey & Operational Excellence Lead ensures that the HR team feels supported and empowered to do their best work.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in HR Operations / Analytics and HR Systems, preferably at an international organization
  • Demonstrated experience performing Workday, with the ability to understand underlying system configuration and workflows
  • Experience in process management, including mapping workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing improvements
  • Strong analytical skills, including advanced experience with Excel and proficiency in Power BI dashboards
  • Excellent communication and customer‑service orientation
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Experience assisting with employee visa, work authorization, or immigration-related administrative processes is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage the regular generation of scheduled reports, in partnership with the global HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs), and develop custom reports and strategic dashboards to provide key stakeholders with actionable data for decision-making
  • Partner with HRBPs and business teams to interpret data and provide insights on key HR metrics, including turnover and employee survey results
  • Support HR on reconciliations, data requests and ad-hoc reporting
  • Conduct data checks to ensure data accuracy in HRIS and compliance with HR policies and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor key risk indicators and support regulatory, audit, and controls testing requests
  • Assist in responding to employee inquiries and driving a culture of employee and manager self-service
  • Collaborate across the HR team to review end‑to-end processes, pinpoint inefficiencies, and deliver recommendations for optimization and automation
  • Champion the documentation and long‑term sustainability of processes and procedures, ensuring appropriate owners maintain and update them
  • Ensure HR processes comply with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards (SOX, GDPR, etc.); providing documentation and reports as required
  • Partner with various Risk teams to strengthen governance and mitigate risks
  • In conjunction with HR colleagues, manage the seamless flow of data between the HRIS and external vendors, monitoring weekly interfaces
  • Participate in system upgrades, new feature releases, and enhancement projects
  • Raise issues and submit change request for Workday configuration when necessary
  • Perform user acceptance testing, document findings, and assist with rollout communications or training materials
  • Ensure data accuracy in the HRIS
  • Own and execute Workday transactions / act as back up to HR Operations Associate
