About The Position

What is the Opportunity? The role will support the Healthcare Investment Banking Team at RBC Capital Markets. What will you do? Lead deal execution across M&A, capital markets and leveraged finance transactions Partner with senior bankers to lead development of new business presentations in an effort to increase the breath of client relationships Working with Associates and Analysts in development of pitch books and other process-related client materials Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities Proactively identify operational risks/ control deficiencies in the business. Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions on a timely basis

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and MBA, MA or MS or equivalent with emphasis in finance/accounting
  • Minimum of 5+ years of Investment Banking experience with previous experience in the Healthcare space being highly desired
  • Solid understanding of banking products, capital markets and spreadsheet modeling
  • Outstanding quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; strong knowledge of finance and accounting
  • Highly motivated with demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and requests
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to take initiative and function independently, balanced with teaming skills when necessary
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills with ability to maintain relationships at all levels of organization
  • Must maintain high standards of professional and ethical conduct
  • Series 79 & 63 licensed
