About The Position

American National is seeking a full-time, Vice President, Head of Sales-Structured Settlements. You will be the client-facing liaison charged with market presence and relationship development of the structured settlement business line. The position is responsible for establishing and optimizing the structured settlement line of business and working with internal operations to drive business growth and profitability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Eight to 10 years of relevant work experience
  • 10 to 15 years of supervisory/management experience
  • Established relationships within the Structured Settlement community, including consultants, law firms, and related parties
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial success in driving top line growth from inception to scale and profitability
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others to exchange information
  • Ability to travel between 50%-75%

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead Structured Settlement wholesaling efforts by leveraging personal brand and relationships to both establish and increase sales through field activity
  • Provide sales ideas, client solutions, and conduct product and sales training with industry engagements, such as conferences and external outreach
  • Customize product alignment to meet client needs, ensuring a competitive edge in product offerings and client satisfaction
  • Drive profitable sales and support the execution and development of key strategic initiatives by working closely with internal management team to ensure cohesiveness and product alignment
  • Advise product management activities inclusive of all operational workflows with brokers
  • Assist in the development of internal wholesaler and operational teams
  • Ensure cross-functional collaboration with teams from Product Development, Pricing, Finance, Risk and Valuation to coordinate projects and provide updates on key enterprise initiatives
