About The Position

The Vice President, Global Trade Solutions Transformation at HSBC is responsible for driving change initiatives and business re-engineering to enhance the Global Trade Solutions (GTS) technology and processes. This role focuses on implementing a new GTS core banking platform to improve client experience and ensure smooth client migration through effective coordination with various stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience; Master's Degree preferred.
• Five or more years of demonstrated experience in the design, development, planning, and management of process improvement solutions, preferably with some experience in global trade.
• Experience in delivering technology platforms, including automation tools, with strong analytical abilities for strategic analysis and process recommendations.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and deliver business performance/improvement programs or projects working with GTS teams.
• Support activities involving direct collaboration with Global Product and Implementation for data gathering, requirements gathering, solution design input, and implementation.
• Lead the review and analysis of business requirement documents and system functionality to meet business objectives and manage technology delivery programs.
• Support the implementation of end-to-end business processes, including the development, documentation, and delivery of business readiness materials and training.
• Provide country leadership for the design, implementation, and localization of the GTS Technology Transformation medium-term plan.
• Engage with related country functions and other stakeholders to support GTS through complete integration as key business partners.
• Participate in GTS product technology program governance committees and forums.
