About The Position

In this role, you will lead strategic sourcing and procurement activities on a global scale across a broad range of spend categories including: Corporate Services (Marketing, HR, Call Center, Tax/Audit etc.), COGS (Point-of-Sale (POS) Hardware, Plastics, Paper/Print, Freight/Logistics, etc.), Physical Security, Aviation, and more. Your mission will be to support Fiserv's strategic business objectives and maximize value realization through well-managed supplier relationships. While leading a team of experienced Sourcing professionals, you will partner with stakeholders across the enterprise to develop and execute sourcing strategies to deliver best-in-class solutions, control expense, and mitigate risk.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement category management, negotiation, competitive bidding, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
  • 5+ years of experience in team leadership roles.
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.

Nice To Haves

  • 12+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, finance, or other business-related areas.
  • Master's degree in supply chain management or a related field.
  • Experience in a global sourcing and vendor management organization.
  • Certification(s) in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of sourcing professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to promote professional development.
  • Utilize subject matter expertise across a wide range of procurement categories to make informed decisions on $1.5B in vendor spend.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and align sourcing strategies with Fiserv business objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to ensure optimal quality, cost, and delivery performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and innovation.
