About The Position

The Vice President, Global Sanctions and Interdictions Strategy is responsible for establishing, executing, and maintaining Western Union’s global sanctions and interdiction strategy. This role provides expert oversight of compliance programs, ensures effective engagement with regulatory and business partners, and leads initiatives to safeguard the company from financial crime and regulatory risks.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain company-wide sanctions and compliance strategies and policies.
  • Own and update policies to ensure compliance with applicable sanctions laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Review government-issued laws, orders, regulations, and guidance; assess implications for company programs.
