We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our Wealth Service Platform team. This role is located in Jersey City, NJ.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in full stack software development required.
  • Extensive experience in full stack development with proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Micro FrontEnds) and back-end technologies (e.g., Java, Spring Framework, Node.js).
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices.
  • Proven leadership experience in software development projects within a financial services environment is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of full stack applications aligned with business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, operations, and security to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Drive best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Participate in architectural decisions and contribute to technology strategy.
  • Participate in code reviews and assist in debugging efforts.
  • Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and performance standards.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables, coordinating with stakeholders to meet business objectives.
  • Continuously contribute directly to the success of project deliverables.
