We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer II to join our team! This role is based in Lake Mary, FL via a Hybrid work arrangement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
  • 7-9 years of experience in software development required.
  • Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST, and NoSQL.
  • Experience with Oracle or any other Relational DB.
  • Experience with messaging - MQ/Kafka is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Micro-Services Architecture, Scalable High Resiliency Systems, and Workflow is preferred.
  • Experience with Angular (or React / JavaScript).
  • Agile Development experience and familiarity with SDLC Tools like Maven, Jenkins, Git, etc.
  • Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding the business ask first before we kick off with design and development.
  • Taking initiative and ownership of tasks and seeing them through to completion, including analysis and testing.
  • Following and adding to defined architecture, technology standards, and best practices for applications, middleware, and databases.
  • Working with the team and architect to design, prototype, and deliver software solutions.
  • Managing the technical environment (software, data, interfaces, integration) and researching new tools and technologies.
  • Participating in code reviews and aiding in debugging while contributing to project deliverables.
