We're seeking a future team member for the role Full - Stack Engineer to join our team. This role is located in New York, NYC - working pattern of 4 days in-office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in software development with hands on experience in core Java, J2EE frameworks and building distribution systems.
  • Passion for problem solving and designing for scale.
  • Experience building distributed applications using Java 8 or above, Spring, Spring Boot and Microservices.
  • Experience required in SQL, Stored Procedures and transaction management.
  • Experience following best practices of design, development, testing and release management.
  • Experience working with APIs to create, test and manage APIs for inter-process communication.
  • Oracle or any other relational database experience necessary. NoSQL knowledge preferred.
  • Experience with scripting using Linux preferred.
  • Experience with messaging - Kafka is preferred.
  • Cloud and/or Kubernetes / Containers experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Snowflake/datalake is a plus.
  • Experience building a client facing reporting application is a plus.
  • Not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the region where they apply.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software features and components.
  • Provide software development and technical support in complex situations.
  • Lead technical design, implementation, and system operations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver projects end to end.
  • Use CI/CD procedures to ensure code quality and security. Apply security and privacy principles.
  • Participate in code reviews and integrate software components into a functional system.
  • Follow change controls during deployment. Maintain, support, and enhance existing systems. Recommend improvements.
  • Work with other engineers to elevate technology and follow best practices. Collaborate with the team on overall efforts.
