About The Position

The VP of FP&A will lead the global financial forecasting, development and execution of the company’s annual operating plan and strategic analysis functions. This role is critical in driving data-driven decision-making, optimizing financial performance, and supporting long-term strategic initiatives across all regions. The ideal candidate will bring a global mindset, strong leadership skills, and deep financial expertise to guide a high-performing, geographically distributed team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • Approximately 15 years of progressive experience in finance, with increasing scope and responsibility.
  • Proven track record of leading and motivating large, global and diverse teams.
  • Strong operational finance background, spanning both commercial and supply chain domains.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills, with experience navigating matrixed organizational structures.
  • Comfortable working across global time zones and cultures.
  • Prior experience in a publicly traded company environment.
  • CPA designation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead Aviat’s short- and long-term financial forecasting, ensuring accuracy, agility, and strategic alignment.
  • Lead the development and execution of Aviat’s annual operating plan, managing timelines, deliverables, and financial outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Aviat’s executive leadership to shape and drive a comprehensive three-year strategic and financial roadmap.
  • Partner with the Controllership team to oversee quarterly close processes, financial reporting, and SEC disclosures with precision and compliance.
  • Work closely with the Investor Relations team to craft compelling earnings call narratives and key messaging.
  • Manage and inspire a high-performing, globally distributed team of 10+ finance professionals.
  • Partner with regional sales and operations leaders to drive intra-quarter execution and accelerate revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the Global Head of HR to design and administer effective sales incentive plans.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the CFO in board reporting and presentation preparation, actively contributing to board-level discussions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
