About The Position
Edward Waters University (EWU) seeks a Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Development (VP-IAD) to serve as a member of the President's executive cabinet and the University's chief advancement officer. The VP-IAD will provide leadership and vision to establish the university's fundraising and philanthropic function as a model and dynamic operation. This strategic advancement leader is responsible for securing external funding and developing a comprehensive strategy to increase giving among all constituents, including alumni, trustees, corporations, foundations, families, and employees. The VP-IAD will also manage strategic communications, marketing, government relations, and board of trustee development initiatives in collaboration with the President. The position oversees a total of seven full-time staff positions within the Division.
