We're seeking a future team member for the role of Financial Modeler/Engineer to join our Corporate Trust Analytics team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Development of financial models for analyzing asset performance, client reference data, securities data, derivative pricing, risk exposure, or other finance concepts. Provide analytical expertise for assigned areas, independently conducting analysis. Collaborate with management to develop and implement techniques and methodologies for various types of activities and analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create financial models, serving as a resource for less experienced colleagues. Utilize technology tools such as SQL, querying, and macro development to extract data and populate models; perform light programming or system configuration as needed. Work with management to evaluate and select the most appropriate technologies for modeling and analysis. Apply understanding of relevant processes and products to support assessment of performance, risk, or valuation. Work on projects supporting new or evolving processes/products or initiatives with cross-functional or enterprise-wide impact. Interpret findings, prepare standard and ad-hoc reports, deliver results to management and other leaders, and provide recommendations based on outcomes. Translate technical concepts and analysis to non-technical audiences. Review accuracy of reports and calculations performed by less experienced colleagues. Provide work oversight and input into performance assessments for junior analysts, without formal supervisory responsibility.
