Bracco Medical Technologies (BMT), the medical device division of the Bracco Group, supports multiple global platforms, including Cardiovascular and Radiology, and is a high growth business generating approximately $500M in annual revenue. The Vice President (VP) Finance reports directly to the President & CEO and has a functional reporting line to the CFO International. This role is accountable for overseeing all financial matters for BMT and serves as a strategic Finance Business Partner to the CEO. The VP Finance is a member of the Executive Committee and provides leadership to the BMT finance organization.

Requirements

• Minimum Proven solid Finance Business Partnership experience
• Experience in financial roles and project management experience
• Solid and broad experience in Finance and Accounting
• Excellent PC skills (MS office base applications), knowledge of accounting software systems and reporting applications
• Knowledge of accounting principles and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP & IFRS)
• Good knowledge of budgeting financial procedures and analytical control techniques
• Proven people management expertise in complex matrix organizations

Responsibilities

• Oversee the activities of budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis and planning, cost control for Bracco Medical Technologies globally (including indirect P&L centers).
• Review the organization’s financial reports to ensure they have been accurately prepared and present findings and recommendations to Bracco Medical Technologies and Bracco Group management.
• Analyze complex data and prepare forecasts, reports, and recommendations so that Bracco Medical Technologies and Bracco Group management has accurate and timely information for making decisions.
• Respond to enquiries regarding economic data and check the work of units to ensure that the financial planning and analysis projects are conducted credibly and that recommendations and reports are accurate and timely.
• Constantly monitor trends, through periodic reports and the definition of reporting schemes for Bracco Medical Technologies and Bracco Group management along with the proposed corrective action in case of any deviations from the approved budget.
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements for both Bracco Medical Technologies and Group needs.
• Control and analyze performance results of local operations vis à vis budget objectives.
• Lead the strategic finance business partnership for a global Platform P&L ownership on the Cardiovascular Platform P&L division.
• Support program and operational financials for the Radiology Platform P&L division.
• In collaboration with the Finance Shared Service Organization, it is responsible for securing compliance activities with statutory accounting and tax.
• In collaboration with the Finance Shared Service Organization, it is responsible to oversee planning activities and actual monitoring for healthy cash flow.
• Responsible for financial compliance, driving the annual statutory and tax cycle.
• Responsible for managing auditor-related activities, both external and internal audits.
• Drive systems implementation and adoption at BMT to secure integration and harmonization within the Bracco Group.
• Manage within BMT the process of adopting Bracco Group policies, local education and monitoring.
• Ability to work in a Finance Shared Service environment and drive the continued re-focus of the BMT finance team to strategic finance business partnership.
• Lead, develop, and manage teams within a complex, matrixed organizational structure, ensuring effective collaboration across functions and geographies.
• Communicate effectively with global stakeholders, translating financial and business information clearly across cultures, regions, and leadership levels.
• Coach, mentor, and develop talent, building strong succession pipelines and fostering high performance through continuous feedback and professional development.
