The Vice President, Finance Transformation Lead - AP is a pivotal role within NBCUniversal, specifically focused on the implementation of SAP S/4 HANA, known as "Project Keystone." This position is integral to the finance digital transformation journey, collaborating with colleagues across the global NBCU Finance and Technology organizations. The VP will oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) workstream, acting as the primary liaison for the Controllership. This role is essential in ensuring that inclusive design decisions are made, effective change management is implemented, and significant finance transformation is achieved. The VP will work closely with IT, System Integrators, Business Units, and Global Finance Operations to align on functional requirements, ensuring that critical business inputs are incorporated into the future process and system design. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in transforming legacy AP processes and technology environments within large, complex enterprises. They will navigate a complex Invoice to Pay ecosystem, aiming to simplify and standardize processes. The role requires strategic thinking based on subject matter expertise in SAP S/4 functionality, data design, and migration for AP processes. The VP will interface with various horizontal workstreams, including Data, IT, Risk and Controls, and the Finance Transformation leadership team, to capture and analyze business processes, workflows, policies, and master data elements related to the current legacy AP landscape. This analysis will be crucial in translating AP needs into the design of SAP S/4 solutions. Additionally, the VP will eloquently translate finance functional requirements to technical teams for development and participate in fit-to-standard workshops focused on data migration design and validation. They will lead these workshops, driving solutions for identified gaps and promoting the fit-to-standard mission within AP business processes. Building stakeholder consensus is vital, ensuring that all parties are aligned and understand the proposed solutions. As a change agent for the SAP S/4 transformation, the VP will evaluate third-party AP solutions as alternatives to custom development, identifying necessary master and transactional data to support future AP business processes and reporting needs. The role also involves managing a team of subject matter experts who will support the AP workstream as a cohesive unit.
