About The Position

We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Vice President in ISG Equity Operations responsible for overseeing risk governance, monitoring, and control frameworks within Equity Operations. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, drives automation and process improvements, and provides strategic oversight to mitigate operational risk across global teams. In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is an Advanced Specialist position at Vice President level within Risk, Regulatory & Resilience, which performs various independent functions to ensure adequate controls are in place. We do this by providing an integrated risk and control framework to govern, assess, mitigate and manage financial and operational risk in Operations. Requirements

  • Front-to-back knowledge of the processes, projects, systems, markets and instruments that influence their team with a comprehensive understanding of job-related operational/compliance policies and procedures
  • Ability to think commercially, understand the impact of initiatives, risks on the operational budget
  • Ability to address non-standard issues within area of expertise
  • Culture carrier and role model, representing and leading the Firm's core values to influence and motivate those around you
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools, and risk management systems.
  • At least 6 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role

Responsibilities

  • Risk Governance & Oversight Maintain and update Risk Roles & Responsibilities documentation for Equity Operations.
  • Implement and manage Incident Escalation Framework and Issue & Action Plan guidance.
  • Coordinate Internal Audit, External Audit, and Compliance Testing activities to ensure transparency and efficiency.
  • Risk Monitoring & Reporting Develop and automate risk dashboards for weekly/monthly reporting (KPI/KRI).
  • Standardize risk agendas and reporting across global forums and governance committees.
  • Track and manage open risk actions and remediation plans.
  • Regulatory & Control Frameworks Support supervisory and procedural uplift for key controls (e.g., Regulation W, Sanctions Control Framework).
  • Participate in governance forums and steering committees for compliance remediation.
  • Transformation & Automation Identify and implement automation opportunities, including AI-driven risk processes.
  • Drive consistency across checklists, procedures, depth charts, BCP plans, and RCSA assessments.
