About The Position

The VP Enterprise Network Services is responsible for defining and executing the network strategy to enable secure, scalable, and high-performing connectivity across core locations. This role drives innovation, ensures operational excellence, and aligns network capabilities with business objectives to support servicing and originations. The VP Enterprise Network Services will initially report to the CISO as part of the organization’s evolving technology strategy. This leader is expected to demonstrate extreme ownership and accountability for network performance, security, and reliability, ensuring outcomes that directly enable business success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field required
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in network engineering and operations.
  • 8+ years in leadership roles, including managing large, distributed teams.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing scalable, enterprise-grade network solutions.
  • Experience in financial services or other highly regulated environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead with accountability and extreme ownership.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, combining subject matter expertise with executive-level communication skills and presence.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking and leadership capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of network technologies, architectures, and emerging trends.

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards for financial services and other highly regulated industries.
  • Strategic planning and execution for scalable, resilient network environments supporting servicing and originations.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
  • Advanced financial management, vendor negotiation, and contract management skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead with extreme ownership and accountability for network performance, security, and reliability.
  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to all levels of the organization.
  • Proven stakeholder engagement and influence, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or CISSP are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a multi-year network strategy focused on security, scalability, and resilience to support servicing and originations.
  • Drive modernization initiatives, including SD-WAN, cloud networking, and zero-trust architectures.
  • Influence enterprise technology roadmap and participate in executive governance forums.
  • Ensure high availability, resilience, and performance of network infrastructure across core locations.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for reliability, security, and cost optimization.
  • Oversee incident response and disaster recovery for network services with full accountability for outcomes.
  • Own network services budget, including forecasting and cost optimization.
  • Negotiate strategic vendor partnerships and manage contracts.
  • Lead a team of directors, managers, and engineers with a culture of extreme ownership and accountability.
  • Foster innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor future leaders and build succession plans.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and enterprise security standards.
  • Partner with cybersecurity leadership to implement secure network architectures.
  • Ability to effectively and accurately convey information to others.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by management.
