About The Position

This executive role offers the opportunity to shape and lead enterprise architecture across data, AI/ML, applications, and infrastructure, ensuring scalable, innovative, and resilient technology solutions. The VP will define strategic architectural frameworks that enable intelligent decision-making, optimize performance, and drive competitive advantage. This position requires collaboration with senior leaders across product, engineering, and data teams, while building a high-performing, multi-domain architecture organization. You will guide cloud adoption, data governance, AI/ML deployment, and innovation initiatives, influencing enterprise-wide outcomes. The role blends strategic vision, hands-on expertise, and executive leadership in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive technology and architecture leadership experience.
• 8+ years leading enterprise or solution architecture at scale across multiple domains.
• 7+ years building and managing architecture teams within large, matrixed enterprises.
• 7+ years of experience architecting enterprise-scale data platforms, analytics, and AI/ML ecosystems.
• 5+ years leading architecture on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP; multi-cloud experience preferred.
• Hands-on expertise with TOGAF, Zachman, SAFe, or similar enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Proven ability to ensure alignment with security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
• Executive presence with experience influencing C-level leaders and driving enterprise-wide initiatives.

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Data Science
• Familiarity with knowledge graphs and responsible AI frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise architecture vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term growth strategies.
• Lead architecture disciplines across data, AI/ML, applications, integrations, and infrastructure into a unified enterprise ecosystem.
• Design scalable enterprise data platforms, analytics, and AI/ML frameworks, including MLOps, governance, and data mesh approaches.
• Drive adoption of emerging technologies such as generative AI, large language models, vector databases, and semantic retrieval.
• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing architecture team, establishing growth paths, success metrics, and frameworks to attract and retain top talent.
• Collaborate with C-level executives to translate architectural vision into measurable business outcomes and guide technology investments.
• Establish architecture standards, design patterns, review processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards (HIPAA, SOC 2, GDPR).
