About The Position

Agilix Solutions is seeking candidates for a key leadership position in our East Region based in the St. Louis, MO metro area. Primary responsibilities include growing sales revenue, profitability, and the Agilix brand across the region. Key emphasis will be placed on defining and aligning sales resources to support Company growth objectives in all product verticals. Strong candidates will demonstrate the ability to further develop a high-performing sales team that personifies our Company’s Core Values and enables Agilix Solutions to be the distributor of choice for our customers. This role will report to the Senior Vice President of Sales.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership skills with significant industrial automation and/or electrical industry experience.
  • 10+ years of experience within the industries of industrial automation or electrical supply
  • 4-year college degree strongly preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Excellent track record in a “Team Selling” environment.
  • Strong work ethic and disciplined in various business practices.
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Business Intelligence (BI) and other analytical tools.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of products.
  • Highly energetic with strong desire to succeed and a “whatever it takes” mind-set and aligns with our Company’s “Core Values.”
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly articulate the Company’s go-to-market strategy.
  • Strong presentation skills in group and individual situations.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to create original concepts to train, service, and sell to internal and external customers.
  • Keen understanding of data analytics
  • Excellent collaboration and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Profitably grow sales revenue and gross profit in all Company locations within the assigned region.
  • Effective and profitable P&L management
  • Systematically defines and implements the sales strategy and resource allocations that are aligned with Company’s business objectives.
  • Precisely develops, manages, and achieves sales targets and goals.
  • Strategically manages and evolves complex business models while maintaining simplicity.
  • Effectively drives desired performance across multiple job types utilizing a consistent disciplined process.
  • Thoroughly establishes and maintains relationships with key customers and suppliers.
  • Carefully leads, develops, and helps prepare employees for advancement opportunities.
  • Ability to frequently travel to all branches within the assigned region as needed.
