About The Position

The Vice President, Mobile Product Manager at E*TRADE by Morgan Stanley is responsible for leading the product management efforts for the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management and E*TRADE mobile applications. This role focuses on enhancing mobile experiences, driving engagement, and expanding the mobile feature set while adhering to firm architecture standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product roadmaps, agile methodologies, and a deep understanding of the wealth management industry.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in digital product management, particularly with client-facing mobile, web, and API-based experiences.
  • Strong knowledge of financial products is required.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing the definition and execution of projects from concept to implementation.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is preferred.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects under deadlines.
  • BA/BS in business, marketing, computer science, or a related field.

  • Experience with mobile analytics and client-centric design thinking.
  • Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and responsive/adaptive web development.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the product owner for a full stack agile team, defining and delivering mobile application enhancements.
  • Drive the pace and quality of new features and capabilities for mobile applications.
  • Lead cross-functional native delivery teams, producing detailed epics/stories and maintaining a prioritized product backlog.
  • Collaborate with User Experience on design, gather feedback from Legal/Compliance teams, and ensure smooth product launches.
  • Conduct hands-on functional testing and validation of business requirements with Quality Assurance teams.
  • Lead requirement grooming/planning sessions to align development schedules, design criteria, and technical specifications with business needs.
  • Coordinate new feature launches and rollouts with other Morgan Stanley Product, Marketing, and Client Services teams.
  • Monitor feedback channels post-release to identify and address potential issues.
  • Create project documentation for formal updates to business and technology leaders.

  • Competitive salary with base pay rates between $110,000 and $185,000 per year, determined on an individualized basis.
