About The Position

The Vice President/Director, Market Leader at BlackRock is responsible for driving the growth of iShares ETFs within the US Wealth Advisory sector. This role encompasses mastering and commercializing iShares ETF products, collaborating with divisional and market teams to identify sales opportunities, and delivering ETF expertise to advisors and market Centers of Influence through various events. The position is primarily based in New York City and requires a strong focus on cultivating advisor relationships and leveraging data-driven sales processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• CIMA, CFP, CFA or MBA preferred
• Minimum 5+ years as an experienced ETF or mutual fund wholesaler (external)
• Strong financial services background with knowledge of investment trends and advisor practices
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong territory management skills, including profiling and resource deployment
• NASD Series 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65) required
• Clean U-4

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of fixed income or factor/quantitative investing

Responsibilities

• Deliver fiduciary and investment insights through portfolio construction conversations
• Cultivate advisor relationships & partnership opportunities with the Blackrock Portfolio Platform, focusing on ETFs
• Demonstrate mastery & commercialization of BlackRock iShares products - Index & Active ETFs
• Partner with Market Teams to accelerate the growth of iShares in RIAs, wirehouse, and independent channels
• Embrace data-driven segmentation and sales processes as territory management tools
• Identify appropriate distribution levers to service and cultivate opportunities
• Drive overall iShares results in geography, leveraging teamed resources and technology
• Commercialize new or focus ETF franchises
