The Vice President, Demand and Supply Planning leads the transformation of Four Hands’ planning, inventory, and purchase order management capabilities. Serving as the strategic bridge between demand planning and supply execution, this leader directly manages the Planning and North America Country Management teams while partnering closely with supply chain leadership to align execution. This role is responsible for building the planning and inventory infrastructure that enables sustainable growth, strengthens product availability, and optimizes lead time performance. By championing advanced analytics, system adoption, and AI-enabled decision frameworks, the VP balances service level excellence with disciplined inventory health to support the company’s continued expansion and operational resilience.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in planning, inventory, or supply alignment disciplines, with a demonstrated track record of increasing scope, ownership, and organizational impact
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Analytics, or a related field required
  • Track record of shaping planning direction and driving supply chain improvements within complex, high-growth, high-SKU product environments
  • Proven experience leading enterprise planning system implementations and digital transformations
  • Demonstrated ability to advance data-driven, AI/ML-enabled decision environments
  • Deep expertise in forecasting, MFP/OTB, inventory optimization, lifecycle management, and lead time management
  • Experience working in a complex, multi-category, omnichannel environment
  • Demonstrated leadership in strategic planning and organizational change
  • Proven ability to build and scale high-performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability
  • Ability to influence broadly and guide cross-functional executive decision-making
  • Exposure to global vendors or manufacturing environments

Responsibilities

  • Set the strategic direction for Merchandise Financial Planning, forecasting, and re-forecasting across all categories and channels
  • Lead the implementation, optimization, and enterprise adoption of a next-generation planning system, incorporating AI/ML, forecasting, scenario modeling, and lifecycle planning
  • Oversee the North America Country Management team to maintain tight coordination across planning, sourcing, product development, and regional supply execution
  • Drive strategy and identify opportunities across North America vendor network in partnership with Merchandising and Product Development
  • Align revenue targets, margin expectations, and inventory investment decisions in close partnership with Merchandising and Finance
  • Shape and elevate global PO management practices, driving accountability for execution, on-time shipping, and fulfillment performance
  • Translate planning system insights into actionable category-level strategies for Merchandising and Product teams
  • Partner with Sales leadership to incorporate pipeline visibility, launch timing, and customer feedback into planning and investment decisions.
  • Develop and execute inventory strategies across stocked, MTO, hospitality, and drop-ship assortments
  • Establish lifecycle guardrails for new launches, replenishment, and exit strategies to improve turns and reduce aged inventory
  • Guide initial buy logic, replenishment approaches, MOQ strategy, and lead time assumptions for assortments
  • Partner with regional teams and vendors to ensure strong lead time performance, production alignment, and on-time delivery
  • Lead supply planning alignment across key manufacturing regions to ensure forecast signals translate into executable supply plans
  • Partner with technology and analytics teams to ensure data integrity, system adoption, and reporting consistency
  • Optimize KPIs including forecast accuracy, excess, sell-through, weeks of supply, aged inventory, service levels, and lead time performance
  • Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews
  • Strengthen the merchant–planner operating model and embed disciplined, data-informed decision-making across the organization
