About The Position

The Vice President, Data and Integration will serve as a key executive leader responsible for shaping and executing the enterprise-wide strategy for enterprise data, reporting & analytics, data governance, and integration strategy. This role will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of data as a strategic asset, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and security across the organization. As a key member of the Business Support Services leadership team, the VP will contribute to the broader Data and Integration strategy as both a thought leader and an operational driver. The VP will lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with senior leadership to embed data governance and an API-first approach into the fabric of business operations. The VP will report directly to the EVP of Technology. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset and entrepreneurial drive enabling them to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Data Science, or related field.
  • 12 or more years of progressive leadership experience in data governance, data management, or enterprise reporting.
  • Proven success in leading enterprise-wide data governance programs and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Experience as a second/third level leader, managing large teams or divisions.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, ability to manage, organize, combine and interpret substantial amounts of data from disparate sources to develop and present insights that support effective decision making.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with different levels within and outside the Technology team.
  • Three or more years of experience planning and managing resources to deliver high-quality results that are aligned with key organizational objectives. Continually guiding the professional growth and development of team members to achieve career goals and to improve individual and team contributions to the organization.
  • Deep understanding of data governance tools, master data management, and data quality frameworks.
  • Expertise in building out API frameworks and design patterns to support enterprise-wide technology and data needs.
  • Proven success in building out data strategies and maintaining Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Data Lakehouses.
  • Ability to provide best in class reporting tools to business leaders.
  • US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Information Technology or Data Science.
  • Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, and Palantir preferred.
  • Experience working with and/or in the implementation of Integration platforms. Hands-on experience with Five Tran and Mulesoft highly desired.
  • Three or more years of experience that includes working within a global organization or exposure to international data requirements and governmental regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Define and champion the enterprise data strategy, aligning data governance, reporting, and integration initiatives with business goals.
  • Serve as the executive sponsor for the Data Governance Program, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the development of a data-driven culture across the organization, promoting data literacy and ownership at all levels.
  • Define and lead integration strategy and design standards across the enterprise.
  • Champion an API-first mindset and ensure architectural standards are adhered to.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of a robust data governance framework, including policies, standards, and stewardship models.
  • Establish and lead the Data Governance Council, ensuring cross-functional alignment and accountability.
  • Drive the resolution of data ownership, quality, and lineage issues across business units.
  • Provide executive oversight of enterprise reporting and data integration platforms, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with business needs.
  • Guide the evolution of the enterprise data warehouse (EDW) and reporting architecture in partnership with IT and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Compliance teams to ensure data privacy, protection, and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor and mitigate data-related risks, including those associated with third-party data sources and emerging technologies.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Directors and Managers across Data Governance, Reporting & Analytics, and Integration.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Build organizational capabilities in data management through strategic hiring, training, and development initiatives.
