The Vice President of Data & Analytics Delivery is responsible for the end-to-end execution of enterprise data and analytics programs throughout the organization. This critical function ensures that complex, multi-year strategic initiatives are completed on time, within budgetary constraints, and yield demonstrable business impact, all while upholding rigorous standards for data quality, governance, security, and scalability. The VP will serve as the operational arm of the CDO's strategic vision, translating the overarching strategy into tangible, executed reality across diverse portfolios, programs, and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree or an advanced degree in a relevant field OR equivalent years of experience. Equivalent years of experience are defined as one year of applicable professional experience for each year of college requested.
  • A minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive experience in technology or data delivery, with substantial tenure leading large, highly complex programs.
  • A documented history of successfully delivering enterprise-scale data, analytics, or AI initiatives within a large, matrixed organizational structure.
  • Strong foundational experience managing diverse groups of vendors, system integrators, and globally distributed teams.
  • Profound understanding of modern data architectures and platform technologies (e.g., cloud data platforms, data lakes/lakehouses, comprehensive analytics stacks).
  • Practical familiarity with data engineering practices, analytics delivery lifecycle management, and core data governance concepts.
  • The capability to engage credibly and effectively with architects and engineers while simultaneously Exceptional executive-level communication proficiency, demonstrating the ability to effectively influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders.
  • Proven strength in strategic decision-making and priority setting, particularly within environments characterized by high ambiguity.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience gained within a publicly listed corporation or a similarly regulated enterprise desired.
  • Prior experience operating within highly regulated or compliance-heavy industry environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the execution of multiple simultaneous, enterprise-scale data programs, encompassing data platforms, advanced analytics, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
  • Institutionalize a portfolio-level governance structure designed to orchestrate complex stakeholder relationships, effectively resolving cross-functional friction and balancing localized business unit needs with overarching enterprise strategic goals
  • Champion disciplined project execution strategy, utilizing the most appropriate delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile, hybrid, Waterfall) determined by the specific program context. Ensure consistent and predictable delivery outcomes across internal staff, system integrators, and external vendor partners.
  • Direct the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise data products, encompassing cloud lakehouse infrastructure, scalable engineering pipelines, AI/ML deployment, and rigorous governance frameworks to ensure compliant, production-grade delivery
  • Collaborate extensively with architecture, engineering, and security functions to ensure delivered solutions are scalable, resilient, and compliant with enterprise standards. Enforce rigorous adherence to enterprise data standards and the long-term technology roadmap, serving as the final arbiter for delivery-related architectural deviations
  • Partner with executive leadership to translate mission critical initiatives into high-velocity delivery workstreams, ensuring technical execution. Proactively manage executive-level communications, identify and mitigate risks, resolve dependencies, and navigate strategic trade-offs. Distill complex technical delivery subject matter into clear, concise business-level updates and quantifiable outcome reports.
  • Govern portfolio-wide capital and operational expenditure, implementing rigorous fiscal controls to optimize the Total Cost of Ownership across the portfolio. Drive productivity improvements, conduct thorough capacity planning, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Design and govern a comprehensive performance framework centered on outcome-based metrics, ensuring every delivery initiative is rigorously measured by its ability to drive tangible business growth and ROI
