About The Position

The Vice President, Creative is at the epicenter of strategic and creative leadership for Studio Resonate, the in-house audio creative agency for SiriusXM Media. This role is not only pivotal in establishing a vision for our team and ensuring our creative output is innovative, but it also drives demand, fosters creative excellence and leadership, and ensures the delivery of world-class audio and display ads with efficiency and precision.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience leading high-impact creative projects in senior roles, preferably in advertising, tech, broadcast, or entertainment
  • 10+ years experience managing a high-functioning, multi-disciplinary team
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; MBA preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities, delegate effectively, and navigate a fast-paced, evolving environment with keen problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), with a history of fostering influence and securing respect across all organizational levels
  • Demonstrated success in leading strategic transformation and driving growth in a dynamic and competitive market
  • A proven history of guiding teams through change with resilience and clarity
  • Composure under pressure, showcasing adaptability, flexibility, and bravery when faced with challenges
  • Proven ability to deliver top-tier creative at scale, emphasizing operational excellence (process efficiencies, effective tools and technologies)
  • Thought leadership in establishing innovative creative capabilities and best practices, serving as a trusted partner to brands and agencies
  • Experience overseeing and managing external vendor relationships

Responsibilities

  • Establish a clear vision and implement strategic objectives for Studio Resonate
  • Open new pathways to incremental advertising spends
  • Identify new opportunities in the market, set goals, and drive initiatives to meet those goals
  • Ensure Studio Resonate's creative output is of the highest quality, innovative, and meeting or exceeding client expectations
  • Foster an environment of creative innovation and excellence
  • Elevate the quality of ad creative across SiriusXM Media's platform, including streaming, podcast, and live audio advertising
  • Oversee and manage a multi-disciplinary creative team, including audio production, design, copywriting, creative direction, strategy, and operations
  • Ensure smooth collaboration across these teams to produce cohesive and high-impact audio advertising campaigns
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop talent within the agency, ensuring the team is equipped with the skills and knowledge to excel in the ever-evolving audio advertising landscape
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for key brands and agencies, ensuring client satisfaction, addresses concerns, and fosters long-term partnerships
  • Deliver dynamic creative pitches and presentations to high-profile clients and potential clients
  • Oversee and manage Studio Resonate's budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources, and tracking return on investment for various campaigns and initiatives
  • Identify and implement ways to streamline processes and workflows, integrating technology and tools where beneficial to increase productivity and quality of work
  • Manage relationships with external partners and vendors, including freelance talent, third-party production companies, and other collaborators essential to the Studio Resonate's work
  • Collaborate and partner with other departments, such as Sales, Client Services, B2B Marketing, and Product teams, ensuring alignment in strategy and execution
  • Represent the agency in the broader industry, engaging in thought leadership activities, attending events, and giving talks or presentations
  • Identify award opportunities to highlight Studio Resonate's innovation and achievements
  • Ensure Studio Resonate is up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in audio advertising and production
