About The Position
The Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Owens Corning plays a pivotal role in shaping the enterprise strategy narrative and growth trajectory within the residential and commercial building products industry. This position is responsible for leading the strategic planning process for a $14 billion enterprise, which includes developing and implementing comprehensive corporate strategies aimed at accelerating growth. The VP will work closely with senior leaders across various business units, acting as a trusted advisor and accountability partner to ensure alignment with the company's vision and goals. In this role, the VP of Corporate Strategy will oversee financial strategies, including budgeting and forecasting, to support strategic initiatives. They will analyze financial performance and recommend adjustments to enhance business outcomes. Additionally, the VP will lead and manage a portfolio of strategic projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget. The position also involves conducting thorough market and economic research, as well as competitive analyses, to identify growth opportunities and competitive threats. The VP will leverage consistent strategy frameworks and structured processes to gain productive insights that inform strategic decisions. They will foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization, driving cross-functional collaboration and alignment across departments to streamline processes and improve decision-making. The VP will also be responsible for communicating strategic plans and progress to both internal and external stakeholders, while leading, developing, and empowering a team of high-performing individuals to successfully deliver high-impact enterprise initiatives.
