About The Position
As the Vice President, Corporate Actions Manager at BNY Mellon, you will play a pivotal role in leading a small team dedicated to corporate action-related custody and accounting processing. This hybrid position, based in New York, NY, requires a proactive approach to managing daily operations and ensuring compliance with organizational standards. You will coordinate with various internal departments and external partners, including sub custodians, custodians, depositories, agents, and brokers, to facilitate smooth and efficient processing of corporate actions. Your responsibilities will include reviewing files for completion and compliance, executing risk controls, and identifying areas for operational analysis and improvement. In this leadership role, you will direct, motivate, and develop your team members, fostering their professional growth and enhancing their ability to collaborate effectively. Your leadership will be crucial in maximizing individual contributions and ensuring that the team functions cohesively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate actions, with experience in settlements or risk management being highly preferred. Your ability to analyze operations and implement resolutions for efficiency will be key to your success in this role.
