About The Position

We are seeking a Vice President of Components - North America. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Components Business for Transformers across North America. The role will be based in Raleigh, NC or Alamo, TN.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 10 plus years of experience in product management, sales and marketing, engineering, or a related field within the industry.
  • Experience Leading a factory or in an operations capacity.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and managing projects with a strategic oversight of a specific product or product group.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree: An MBA or a Master's in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying growth opportunities, business model innovation, and facilitating cross-business unit initiatives.
  • Evaluating and financial modeling of potential merger, acquisition, divestment, partnership and joint venture opportunities.
  • Monitoring medium to long-term business trends/outlooks, gathering competitive intelligence to contribute to strategic business planning discussions with leadership.
  • Analyzing and managing medium and long-term capital expenditure and project approval decisions.
  • Establish and implements strategies that have mid to long-term (3-5 years) impact on business results in alignment with Regional and Global organization objectives.
  • Acts as the main managerial focal point within the local Factory Operations and site development.
  • Leads Factory Operations Team in the region for the components business as well as the Sales and Marketing Operations for effectiveness.
  • Implement the North America and Global Product Group (GPG) strategy in the country, ensuring business development and sustainable growth in the domestic/allocated market.
  • Achieves established targets through regular oversight and definition of improvement actions.
  • Align with internal and external local stakeholders.
  • Lead, own, and secure year-on-year operational targets, including Health, Safety, and Environment(HSE), Quality, and P&L.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
