About The Position
The Corporate Vice President of Communications and Public Relations is a corporate, tactical leader responsible for extensive writing, editing, planning, development and execution of the organization's strategic communications and public relations. This leadership position is one of the key representatives of Prime Healthcare with internal and external stakeholders and serves as primary spokesperson for Prime Healthcare. A hands-on leader who is responsible for the development and deployment of all corporate communications, media relations, investor-related communications and presentations, support for government relations, and PR/community engagement activities for Prime Healthcare. This leader oversees a corporate staff responsible for internal communications, executive communications, PR and media relations, crisis communications, corporate sponsorships, Prime Healthcare Foundation activities, website development, digital marketing and social media strategy. This leader works with hospital leadership across the system to advance the company's strategic goals. Hospital Communications teams have a dotted line to this leadership role.
