About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Vice President, Commercial Technology in the United States. In this strategic executive role, you will lead the vision and execution of digital and IT initiatives that empower commercial success across the organization. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Digital Health teams to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions that enhance engagement, streamline operations, and drive growth. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape the company’s commercial technology ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration with healthcare systems and advancing the use of digital innovation across all commercial functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; an advanced degree (MBA or MS) is preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in IT leadership, including at least 7 years managing teams and driving transformation within commercial technology functions.
  • Proven background in healthcare IT, with strong expertise in CRM systems (Salesforce.com), data integration, and digital platform architecture.
  • Solid understanding of healthcare interoperability standards (EHR/EMR, HL7, FHIR) and data exchange frameworks.
  • Demonstrated success implementing digital solutions that enable commercial excellence, marketing automation, and customer relationship management.
  • Strong business acumen, excellent stakeholder management, and ability to align technology strategy with commercial goals.
  • Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and compliance within regulated healthcare environments.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a forward-thinking Commercial IT and digital strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Partner with commercial and marketing leaders to identify technology solutions that drive customer engagement and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the implementation and management of key platforms such as CRM (Salesforce), marketing automation tools, content management systems, and analytics platforms (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Lead initiatives enabling interoperability with healthcare systems (EHR/EMR), supporting real-time insights and improved patient care coordination.
  • Drive enterprise-wide digital adoption and change management to maximize the use and impact of commercial platforms.
  • Ensure technology initiatives comply with industry regulations, data privacy, and healthcare standards while maintaining scalability and security.
