Vice President Commercial and Ag Lending
About The Position
The Vice President of Commercial and Ag Lending is responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships in alignment with Community Savings Bank’s business strategies. This role entails originating, underwriting, and closing a range of secured and unsecured loans—including commercial, agriculture, real estate, and retail—while ensuring compliance with lending objectives and institutional policies. The position plays a critical part in customer acquisition, retention, and overall growth. This role requires registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) if engaging in real estate lending. Assistance with certification may be provided as needed.
Requirements
- Five years’ minimum experience as a commercial and/or agricultural lender
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Agriculture, or relevant work experience
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Desire to pursue a career in commercial and/or agricultural lending.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in banking, finance, or agribusiness is a plus.
