About The Position

The Vice President - CLO Warehouse and Securitization Credit Risk is responsible for ensuring adherence to relevant policies and procedures within the Corporate & Investment Banking sector. This role represents the second line of defense (2LOD) in all new CLO Warehousing and Trade Receivables Securitization deal screenings, performing credit analysis to determine deal viability and compliance with credit underwriting standards. The position involves reviewing and challenging all new underwritings for covered products, providing independent oversight of credit quality for assigned portfolios, and managing risk areas. The role also includes leading special risk projects and supporting industry best practices in business continuity and incident response.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in Risk Management, Credit Risk, CLO Warehouse Financing, CLO financings, Leverage Finance, Underwriting, Securitization, or Internal Audit.
  • Experience with Trade Receivables financing is a plus.
  • Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, statistics, finance, economics, or equivalent field.
  • Ability to analyze risk and design efficient control practices to manage risk effectively.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize activities, manage conflicts of interest, delegate, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of operational, accounting, credit, regulatory, market, and technological risks within CLO, Leverage Finance, and Securitization segments.
  • Demonstrated credit analysis and underwriting skills.
  • Ability to evaluate counterparty risk exposures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and project management skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management and work independently or in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and ensures consistent quality control, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements for reporting processes.
  • Executes ongoing maintenance of controls, mitigation plans, testing, and credit risk assessments.
  • Partners with the accountable business owner for effective 1st and 2nd line of defense Risk Management and Controls.
  • Provides oversight on risk-management content/processes followed by the 2nd line of defense.
  • Evaluates the adequacy and effectiveness of data, document retention, and monitoring systems.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) while providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship.

Benefits

  • Salary range: $101,250 - $185,000/year
