WSP is currently initiating a search for an ambitious professional to be a Vice President of Civil Engineering within our Eastern Pennsylvania Team . The position will lead our team of civil engineering professionals delivering a variety of roadway/highway, mass transit, and site/civil professional services located in both our Philadelphia and Exton offices while coordinating with our practices in both Western Pennsylvania and New Jersey if and when workshare is required. In this senior role, you’ll oversee the delivery of high-quality civil engineering services to public sector clients, including PennDOT, PTC, and SEPTA while coordinating with other local and national business line leaders for the pursuit and delivery of civil engineering services in other business lines including transit and rail, tolling and mobility solutions, and multi-modal; and aviation-based transportation improvements. The role provides leadership within the Philadelphia office and surrounding areas to ensure civil engineering subject matter, technical deliverables, infrastructure projects and programs are delivered with a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry and company standards for design, safety, and functionality. Responsible for SME innovation and administration, ensuring corporate compliance with all Local, State, and Federal engineering, construction, and safety regulations, and providing pragmatic direction to address current and future challenges in a rapidly changing and complex business climate. This is a people leader role and will be tasked with the development and growth of direct reports. This is a hybrid role, with a minimum in-office attendance 2-3 days per week.
