About The Position

ABNA is seeking a Vice President of Civil Engineering, PE located in the vibrant heart of Midtown St. Louis. As our Vice President of Civil Engineering, you will oversee the project delivery of groundbreaking civil and environmental projects. This includes offering technical guidance for the design, operation, and upkeep of water and wastewater conveyance systems, as well as analyzing and crafting engineering designs for water, wastewater, and stormwater conveyance, pumping stations, and treatment plant initiatives. Responsible for Subject Matter Expert (SME) innovation and administration, ensuring corporate compliance with all Local, State, and Federal engineering, construction, and safety regulations, and providing strategic and consistent direction to address current and future challenges in a large-scale and multi-faceted business organization.

Requirements

  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Missouri, PE in Illinois and other states considered a plus
  • At least a minimum of 15 - 20 years’ post education experience managing complex projects and 10 years in a leadership role.
  • Educational Requirements: BS Civil Engineering
  • Physical Requirements: The employee is regularly required to see, talk and hear. Sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs and lifting up to 25 Lbs. are also core physical requirements. Must also be able to drive to jobsites when necessary.
  • Advanced proficiency with civil engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, standard of care, and the application to permitting and project work-related issues.

Nice To Haves

  • Masters Degree in Civil Engineering or related field is a plus.
