About The Position
Overview Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach, Virginia is recruiting a Chief Nursing Officer. Serve as a leader for division nursing operations. Responsible for the success of the patient care departments, recruitment and retention strategies for nursing personnel, continuing education for nursing personnel, regulatory compliance, standards of care, and policies and procedures. This position is responsible for the coordination of the delivery of high quality services that meet or exceed customer expectations. Work collaboratively with other Vice Presidents, Medical Staff, and Leadership in the fulfillment of the quality improvement action plan for clinical effectiveness. Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital, located in Virginia Beach, VA, is home to the region’s only Level III Trauma Center. Requirements
- Master's Degree of Nursing, Business or Healthcare Administration.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Current RN license in Virginia.
- 3 years of Inpatient hospital, Acute Care management experience to include at least 2 years in a 24/7 nursing operations area
- 10+ years of Nursing Experience
