The Association for Individual Development (AID) is a long-standing, mission-driven nonprofit empowering individuals with developmental, intellectual, physical, and mental health challenges to live lives of dignity, independence, and purpose across the greater Fox Valley and surrounding Illinois communities. To learn more, please visit: https://www.aidcares.org Job Summary: The VP – Capital Development & Asset Management will play a crucial role in ensuring the success and sustainability of AID properties and other assets while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. This role is responsible for ensuring that property and other assets are well-maintained and financially optimized. Duties include the development and implementation of property and other asset management policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize operational efficiency. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including government agencies at all levels, community partners, and internal teams, to ensure the successful implementation of housing and building projects, as well as strategic oversight fleet management, procurement and purchasing as well as financing of these projects. Additionally, this position will perform various tasks as directed by the President & CEO. This job position may have some work components that can be performed remotely.
