About The Position

The Vice President/CAO of System Service Line Operations is responsible for assisting in developing the vision, strategy, and standardizing care delivery throughout the assigned service line(s) within Rochester Regional Health (RRH). This position collaborates with multiple executive and physician leaders throughout the health system to develop and execute growth targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the assigned service line, acting as a catalyst for financial and operational growth.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business, Management, or related field.
  • 4-6 years of progressive managerial and leadership experience.
  • Proven track record in departmental, program, and project management, including oversight of personnel and budget.

Nice To Haves

  • 7-10 years of progressive managerial and leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong record of successful leadership in an executive level role in hospital administration or similar healthcare segment.
  • Demonstrated success in managing operational and service line growth.
  • Strong project management skills and experience.
  • Exemplary communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of market dynamics and competitive environment within service lines.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and clinical leadership to develop a service line strategic plan and roadmap.
  • Manage joint venture partnerships and develop strategies for maintaining ongoing relationships.
  • Provide direction and support for the ongoing development and operations of the service line.
  • Develop tactics and promote operational standards in partnership with key division personnel.
  • Support the recruitment of new physicians and clinical personnel to enhance quality access and growth.
  • Maintain oversight for all strategic and operational elements for the service line.
  • Identify opportunities to achieve operational and financial efficiencies across the system.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable accreditation, regulatory, and legal requirements.
  • Develop leading practices and standardization in approach, tools, methods, and analysis.
