We are currently seeking a Vice President, Business Development to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Vice President, Business Development at ICON, you will play a pivotal role in leading FSP strategic initiatives and blended solutions to drive growth, expand market presence, and enhance partnerships, thereby contributing to the advancement of innovative treatments and therapies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in senior business development leadership roles within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or clinical research industry.
  • Extensive experience in developing and executing strategic plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to travel, as needed.
  • Live in the US or UK.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing comprehensive business development strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships, collaborations, and client acquisitions.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry leaders.
  • Leading negotiations and contract discussions to secure new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Providing leadership and direction to the business development team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability.
