Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of business development experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within services-focused businesses.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively with team members to understand client needs.
  • Proven ability to develop new business ideas that result in new revenue streams.
  • Demonstrated energy for driving change that creates value.
  • Ability to attract, develop and retain highly collaborative sales talent.
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with MS Office and Salesforce.com.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in both B2B and B2B2C sales leadership.
  • Knowledge of sales life cycle and selling techniques.
  • Valid driver's license required due to local travel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead growth of same store sales at existing clients and identify new prospective clients within an assigned territory.
  • Build strong industry relationships and leverage those relationships to enhance brand, portfolio size and revenue.
  • Implement strategic solutions to identify customer and market needs and successfully implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with Operations leadership to promote and enhance in-field business development efforts.
  • Work with Marketing and Communications teams to develop and promote new offerings that address untapped customer opportunities.
  • Articulate compelling value propositions around Towne Park's products and services to accelerate client growth.
  • Create and lead the large account pursuit process for top clients.
  • Develop and implement plans to leverage digital and social media platforms to drive growth.
  • Engage with key customers to foster new client wins and in-account growth.
  • Participate in monthly Executive Committee growth strategy sessions.
  • Accountable for delivering on high expectations for organic growth and profitability improvement.
  • Identify trends and emerging customer needs for strategic planning.
