Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive brand, communications, and/or content marketing experience in B2B technology
  • Demonstrated track record advising and writing for C-suite executives on high-stakes communications- earnings, acquisitions, board narratives, media moments
  • Hands-on leadership of PR and analyst relations programs at a technology services or enterprise software company
  • Experience in PE-backed, high-growth environments
  • Proven ability to build and lead creative, content, and social teams and to elevate the quality of work, not just manage the volume
  • Real, demonstrable work in LLM visibility, generative AI content strategy, or AI-era SEO; not just awareness of the topic
  • Experience leading large-scale corporate events- SKOs, technical conferences, executive summits, and major tradeshow activations with a clear line of sight to pipeline and brand impact
  • A bias toward speed, directness, and outcomes over process and perfection

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to M&A integration communications
  • Supported a company through an IPO or public-company readiness process

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive Presidio's brand architecture, visual identity, and messaging, including shepherding our unified AI identity to market
  • Partner directly with the CMO to sharpen the company's point of view and ensure it lands consistently across every touchpoint
  • Own the story of who Presidio is and why it matters and make sure every team member can tell it
  • Serve as a trusted communications advisor to the CEO, drafting keynote narratives, earnings call talking points, press releases, board presentations, and thought leadership
  • Build executive visibility programs that put Presidio leaders on the right stages, in the right publications, and in front of the right audiences
  • Operate with discretion and judgment in sensitive, high-stakes situations
  • Lead a high-performing PR team and agency relationships to drive strategic, proactive media coverage, not just reactive press releases
  • Build and manage a serious analyst relations program: Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and beyond because you understand that analyst validation is a sales tool
  • Position Presidio within the analyst conversation on AI, cloud, and managed services in ways that accelerate pipeline
  • Oversee content strategy and production across thought leadership, demand generation support, social, and digital with a bias toward content that drives revenue, not just readership
  • Lead the creative function: brand standards, visual design, campaign assets, and overall aesthetic quality
  • Develop and execute Presidio's social media presence, LinkedIn-first, but with a coherent multi-channel strategy
  • Own the full corporate events portfolio- from company-wide Sales Kickoff and Presidio LAB (our flagship technical conference) to Presidio Perspectives (executive summits) and The Presidio Forum.
  • Lead Presidio's presence at major industry tradeshows and partner events, including Cisco Live, AWS re: Invent, Microsoft Ingnite, and others- ensuring every activation is on-brand, measurable, and strategically aligned
  • Drive the strategy behind the event calendar: which events we own, which we sponsor, and which we walk away from and hold the team accountable for clear ROI on every dollar spent
  • Partner with field marketing, sales, and partner teams to ensure events create real pipeline momentum, not just impressions
  • Understand how LLMs surface brands and know how to optimize for that from content strategy to entity authority to citation architecture
  • Lead Presidio's strategy for AI-era discoverability: ensuring we show up when a buyer asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Gemini who the best AI implementation partner is
  • Bring proof points, not just familiarity, with LLM visibility work
