We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Auditor to join our Credit Risk Internal Audit team. This role is located in New York, NY. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Participating in risk-based audits aligned to Internal Audit policies, methodologies, and standards to identify significant issues, risks, and control gaps. Serving as the subject matter expert (SME) for credit-risk audits and regulatory issue validations; advising risk assessment, scoping, execution, and reporting. Coverage includes wholesale lending, counterparty credit risk, and intraday credit risk generated by BNY’s global businesses. Assessing the control environment against regulatory requirements and leading practices; proposing and driving practical remediation strategies. Partnering with Audit Leadership to align audit plans with existing and emerging risks within the business strategy. Coordinating with stakeholders to deliver audit engagements; communicating progress, findings, and remediation status through closure. Recommending enhancements to processes, controls, and risk management, including root-cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions. Utilizing AI-based solutions to increase efficiency and expand coverage. Demonstrating leadership through guidance, coaching, and knowledge sharing with peers and business partners (role has no direct reports).
