About The Position

Architects, designs, and builds Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions, platforms, and services for developers and customers, in a highly regulated financial services environment. Builds and evaluates Natural Language Processing (NLP) related Machine Learning (ML) models. Integrates ML model services with existing runtime conversation handling system. Creates and supports Cognitive Computing Platforms. Leads teams to implement solutions and design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and efficient systems, using Cloud technologies -- Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP, Node.js, and Python. Designs and oversees the implementation of scalable, interoperable, and secure systems that connect different applications, services, and platforms .

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and six (6) years of experience as a Vice President, Architecture (or closely related occupation) designing and delivering business-critical AI solutions platforms and systems, using Cloud, SaaS, and managed services within the financial services industry .
• Master’s degree in Computer Science , Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and four (4) years of experience as a Vice President, Architecture (or closely related occupation) designing and delivering business-critical AI solutions platforms and systems, using Cloud, SaaS, and managed services within the financial services industry .
• Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) building conversational AI interfaces for multiple channels (Web and Mobile) to build and deploy chatbots, using Amazon Web Services (AWS) services -- Nuance, Lex, EC2, and Lambda; streaming data platforms and message queuing systems, and implementing best practices for scalability and high-performance solutions, using Node.js and Python; and evaluating NLP related ML Models, and building and automating ML operations .
• DE providing technical leadership and architecting, designing, building, and operating scalable platforms, services, and applications on Cloud and distributed systems in the financial services domain, using AWS streaming services, Kubernetes, and Messaging Queues; and developing working architectural prototypes on the Cloud and distributed systems platforms, and selecting development and testing tools for platform delivery, using C4 and Unified Modelling Language (UML) .
• DE designing and building open, interoperable platforms that expose platform capabilities, using RESTful Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and GraphQL .
• DE leading development teams in production deployment and ensuring design is implemented throughout development lifecycles, using automated build, deployment, automated testing frameworks (Test-Driven Development (TDD ) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)) and SRE processes, by creating Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines, using Jenkins and Docker .

• Supervises or oversees the work of software engineers/developers, technologists, analysts, and other engineering and scientific teams in line with software development goals and organizational objectives .
• Leads the design, development and modification of complex and major software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design.
• Provides leadership, technical supervision, and expertise to multiple teams in broad technical areas on complex organization-wide projects.
• Advises senior management on technical strategy .
