Our portfolio includes targeted streaming services AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder, Sundance Now, ALLBLK and HIDIVE; cable networks AMC, BBC AMERICA, Independent Film Company, Sundance TV and We TV; and film distribution labels Independent Film Company and RLJE Films. The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business. We are currently seeking a Vice President, Ad Ops - Data Analytics and Rev Optimization to join our Commercial Sales & Revenue Operations, based in our New York, New York office.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in Ad Operations, Ad Analytics, Revenue Operations, or related roles within media, streaming, or ad-tech
  • Deep understanding of linear, digital, and CTV advertising ecosystems
  • Hands-on experience with ad servers (FreeWheel strongly preferred), SSPs, and programmatic marketplaces
  • Strong analytical skills with experience building dashboards, forecasts, and performance models
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders using data and insights
  • Experience leading and developing teams in a matrixed organization
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
  • Experience working with premium video or streaming publishers
  • Familiarity with identity, audience targeting, and measurement frameworks in a privacy-first environment

Responsibilities

  • Data Strategy & Analytics Leadership
  • Own and evolve the ad operations analytics roadmap across linear, digital, and streaming inventory
  • Define KPIs, reporting frameworks, and dashboards to measure revenue performance, yield, sell-through, pricing, and operational health
  • Partner with Data Engineering and BI teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and scalability across ad systems
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for executive leadership, sales, and operations teams
  • Revenue Optimization & Yield Management
  • Lead revenue optimization strategies across direct-sold, programmatic, and marketplace demand
  • Drive improvements in fill rate, CPMs, win rates, pacing, and inventory utilization across platforms
  • Collaborate with Ad Ops leadership to evaluate FreeWheel ad server waterfalls and prioritization frameworks to optimize digital ad revenue across AMCN’s diverse digital endpoints.
  • Continuously assess FAST channel distribution and revenue trends to optimize launch strategies and determine when to expand or sunset channels.
  • Analyze deal performance, audience targeting, and pricing dynamics to inform go-to-market strategies
  • Ad Operations & Technology Enablement
  • Oversee the analytical and operational components of ad-tech platforms (e.g., ad servers, SSPs, data platforms, measurement tools)
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert on FreeWheel, programmatic marketplaces, CTV measurement, and attribution
  • Identify opportunities to automate workflows, reduce manual processes, and improve operational efficiency
  • Support the evaluation and implementation of new ad-tech and data solutions
  • Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Act as a strategic partner to Sales, Ad Sales Operations, Product, Finance, and Distribution teams
  • Provide data-backed insights to support client conversations, renewals, and custom opportunities
  • Align analytics and optimization efforts with broader company goals around streaming growth and monetization
  • Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team focused on analytics, reporting, and revenue optimization
  • Foster a culture of curiosity, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Establish best practices and documentation to support knowledge sharing and operational excellence
