About The Position

Momentum Worldwide is looking for a dynamic Vice President, Account Director of Business Leadership to be a key member of a rapidly growing commerce team working on a major CPG account including a wide variety of brands and programs. This individual will lead a cross functional team to deliver projects on-time, on-brief, and be responsible for delivering great work that drives business results. We are seeking a passionate leader with experience in commerce – specifically shopper marketing and retailers. You will work to develop a strong relationship with clients, third parties, and internal team members while leading and empowering your team across multiple work streams. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred - in Marketing or related field
  • 12+ years agency Account Management experience marketing
  • Retail, shopper, and commerce experience greatly valued
  • Willing and interested in travel
  • Self-motivated and able to problem solve
  • Experienced in strategic thinking and ability to see, articulate and drive to the big picture
  • Passion and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
  • Exceptional verbal & written communication skills and adept at communicating effectively across all levels
  • Well-versed in business development, strategic thought leadership and creative development skills.
  • Ability to perform well in fast-changing environments.
  • Exceptional client management skills
  • Demonstrated success in leading multi-disciplinary teams in delivering exceptional work within budget parameters
  • A passion to help and develop people – making yourself readily available to answer questions and offer support, and the ability to motivate people to succeed

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for growth and profitability of a top-tier commerce account and attaining annual revenue and contribution margin targets.
  • Provide category and channel expertise and leadership in guiding internal teams across the agency to meet client goals, ensuring that brand strategy and objectives are met
  • Integral member of commerce team within the agency, developing and managing client business but also building relationships within the IAT
  • Foster strong relationships across the client marketing team and proactively troubleshoot conflicts with clients
  • Along with budget development and management, develops staffing plans to profitably support the business
  • Lead Business Leadership and cross discipline agency teams in developing and delivering exceptional programs, flawlessly executed while meeting client needs
  • Actively contributing to new business efforts, working in conjunction with senior management and external agency partners
  • Develop and delivers compelling client/new business presentations
  • Proactively work to grow client business across the agency’s core disciplines
  • Leadership, mentorship and development of all direct reports. Fostering an environment of mutual respect and partnership, strategic thinking, appropriate risk taking, open lines of communication, on-going performance feedback, professional development and adherence to agency policy.
