About The Position

The Vice Dean/Site Dean for the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific Northwest (COMP-NW) at Western University of Health Sciences is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the academic components of the Lebanon, Oregon campus. The Site Dean will work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students to uphold the mission and vision of the College while strategically planning for its growth. This position requires a visionary leader with extensive experience in medical education and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and innovative learning environment.

Requirements

• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an AOA-accredited college of osteopathic medicine.
• Residency training and certification in a specialty discipline of osteopathic medicine.
• Minimum of five years of experience as a Department Chair, Vice Chair, Assistant/Associate Dean, Program or Residency Director, or equivalent experience in a medical college or program.
• 10-15 years of experience working with leaders in healthcare, business, or academia.
